The beautiful Thetis, the crystal-armed water goddess, was given by the gods to Peleus, a mortal king. And the great warrior, demigod Achilles, who will shake the Trojan walls in the future, is thus born. Homer mentioned Achilles as the most beautiful face in his book Iliad. The Goddess Thetis sets out for the river Styks when her son Achilles was still a baby, by order of the gods. Those who enter this water become invincible, but not immortal. The goddess lifts Achilles by her left heel and submerges her in the water. And so, not counting his left heel, the mighty Achilles is utterly invincible.
The work used in the design was made by Ernst Gustav Herter. The statue is purchased by the Empress of Austria and becomes the centerpiece of the Achilleion Palace in Corfu, Greece.
Fabric Properties
The product is produced from 160 cm diameter, 70% cotton 30% polyester, first-class quality terry cloth. The front surface is covered with digital printing and the back surface is a white cotton towel. It has high water-absorbing properties. It is framed with a black tassel under the ground color of the design.
The dyes used in the towels are certified and safe and do not harm human health.
It is applied with printing screen/screen printing techniques, it is a type of printing that breathes. Since this print is completely integrated with the fabric, it feels soft to the touch, not plastic.
Washing instructions
It is washed in the normal cycle up to 30 °C.
The product should not be washed with bleach. Only colored and mild detergent should be used.
For long-term use of colors, it is recommended to wash with similar colors and use a softener.
It is suitable for tumble drying at low temperatures.
A hot iron should not be used, it can be ironed without steam at a maximum of 110 °C.
Dry cleaning should not be done.
There is no shrinkage after the recommended washing instructions.
